Window Well Solutions LLC is a local company based out of Fort Collins. 

The Owner, Chris Ufer, has been in the area for over 25 years repairing and remodeling thousands of homes.  You may have hired some of his past companies, Ufer Painting, Buford’s Handyman Service, Legacy Custom Builder’s, or Space Solutions LLC.

“QualCorr Engineering was contracted by a consortium of home builders to determine why numerous window wells were failing prematurely due to corrosion.  As an engineering firm specializing in corrosion testing and mitigation, QualCorr completed field testing which determined that a galvanic corrosion cell was created when the window wells were inadvertently shorted to the rebar in the home’s foundation. This situation occurs primarily during installation of the window wells when they are anchored to the homes foundation and inadvertently shorted to the rebar.  A sure way to prevent this from occurring is to utilize the Window Well Solutions LLC and Ufer Wells LLC which eliminates the galvanic cell by ensuring electrical insulation between the window well and the Ufer ground or other electrodes such as rebar.”

We mount the window well from the inside, meaning we can replace a window well without damaging the surrounding landscaping, patio, a/c units or fences.

For the second summer in a row, water from a big storm collected in my window well, rising 4" over the window. My basement got flooded. Chris and Patrick checked out my existing rusty well, and had several suggestions they implemented while installing a new deeper well that will fix my problem. They checked out the work site several times during the day to assure it was properly installed, and verified the grade was proper.Their estimate was very reasonable, and had no additional charges added on. They and their crew were a pleasure to talk to, and always courteous, and the job was done inside of a week. I'll definitely pass their name on to my neighbors.

Window Well Solutions replaced three window wells at our house. Chris did an excellent job. He took out the old railroad ties and placed the new metal window wells with escape ladders, and metal and plastic covers. The work was done in a timely matter and Chris was so conscientious about protecting my garden plants. We were so happy with the job Chris did, that we had him come back and replace window wells at our rental. Again, Chris did a wonderful job and we would highly recommend him.

A huge thanks for the work done by Aaron and Charles to replace the rusting window well.
